WooCommerce integration

Your WooCommerce shop, posting for itself

Approve Synapis on your own store and it reads your products, sale prices, reviews and top sellers, then writes and designs posts from them. Nothing is published until you say so.

Read-only access, approved on your own WooCommerce screen. No API keys to copy.

From catalogue to published post

Four steps, and you only take part in two of them.

  1. 1

    Synapis reads your site

It learns your brand colours, tone of voice and what you sell from your own website. No questionnaire.

  2. 2

    Approve Synapis

Enter your store address and a WooCommerce window opens asking you to grant read access. Approve it and you are connected.

  3. 3

    It plans the week

Posts are spread across content pillars built from your data: best sellers, current offers, new arrivals and products you have in stock.

  4. 4

    You review, then publish

Each post arrives by email with its caption and design. Edit it, swap the product or regenerate it, then publish or schedule in one click.

What your WooCommerce data does

WooCommerce gives Synapis the widest picture of any connector, reviews included.

Top sellers

WooCommerce’s own top-sellers report for the month ranks which products the best-seller posts feature.

Sale prices, stated

Products on sale lead the offer posts, deepest discount first, with the regular and sale price in the caption.

Customer favourites

Average ratings from your product reviews pick the products for review-led posts.

New arrivals

Products added in the last two weeks get their own post.

Stock awareness

Stock quantity and status, including backorders, decide what the showcase posts feature.

Links to the product

Each caption can point to the product’s permalink, so a post leads straight to the product.

How to connect WooCommerce

In Synapis, choose WooCommerce and type your store address. Your store opens in a pop-up on WooCommerce’s standard approval screen, asking you to give Synapis read access. Approve it, and WooCommerce hands the credentials to Synapis directly. There are no API keys to create or copy.

The access is read-only. Synapis reads products, categories, reviews, the top-sellers report and your public blog posts, and it never changes anything in your shop. You can revoke the key from WooCommerce’s REST API settings at any time.

How posting works

Your store syncs every night. From that data Synapis builds the week’s plan across the pillars your catalogue supports: top sellers, offers, customer favourites, new arrivals and in-stock showcases. Products rotate, so an item rests for three weeks after it is featured.

Each post arrives by email with its caption and matching design. Open it to edit the text, adjust the design in the built-in editor, swap the product or regenerate it, then publish to Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, now or at a time you choose.

WooCommerce questions

Do I need to create API keys?

No. Synapis uses WooCommerce’s built-in approval screen, which creates a read-only key and sends it to Synapis when you approve.

Does it work with any WooCommerce store?

It needs a WooCommerce store reachable on the public internet with its REST API enabled, which is the default.

Can Synapis edit my products?

No. It asks for read access only and never writes to your store.

Does it use my product reviews?

Yes. Average ratings decide which products appear in review-led "customer favourite" posts.
