Synapis vs Buffer
Buffer is a clean, affordable scheduler for content you create yourself, on a dozen networks. Synapis is for online stores that would rather not create it: it turns your catalogue into finished posts for you to approve.

The short version: Buffer covers more networks, Synapis does more of the work.

If you already make your own posts and want to publish them widely, Buffer is hard to beat. It supports twelve networks, including TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky, where Synapis publishes to three. Its free plan covers three channels, its AI Assistant helps with text on every plan, and it includes analytics and an engagement inbox, which Synapis does not.
Buffer does not create the post for you. You bring the image, usually from Canva, and the words. Synapis generates both, a caption and a matching design in your brand’s style, from your website and products.
For stores the difference is larger. Buffer retired its Shopify integration and has no native store connection. Synapis connects Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or a product feed, ranks best sellers by real sales, builds offer posts with the discount stated, and features new arrivals as they land.
Approval is built in. Every Synapis post comes to you for review before it goes out, on every account; Buffer’s approval workflow is part of its Team plan.
Buffer charges per channel per month: Essentials is $6 a channel ($5 billed yearly), Team is $12 ($10 yearly). Synapis has no subscription. A post costs about 1,000 credits, the first 3,000 are free, and packs start at $9.90. If you post a lot on many networks, Buffer’s per-channel rate is cheaper; if you want each post made for you, Synapis replaces the design and writing time that Buffer leaves to you.
Yes. Some stores let Synapis make and publish product posts to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and keep Buffer for other networks and hand-made content.
No. Synapis publishes to Facebook Pages, Instagram and LinkedIn only.
Synapis gives every account 3,000 free credits, about three finished posts. Buffer has an ongoing free plan for scheduling.
