Synapis vs Hootsuite
Hootsuite gives large teams listening, reporting and governance across many networks. Synapis does one job for online stores: it makes finished posts from your products and sends them to you to approve.

Hootsuite does far more, for far more. Synapis does less, and does the making.

Hootsuite is built for social teams. It covers more than ten networks, adds social listening, sentiment and benchmarking, custom reports, a shared inbox, user seats and approval routing. Its OwlyWriter AI writes captions, and its plans from Standard up can generate images. If your company runs social as a department, Hootsuite is designed for that; Synapis is not.
Hootsuite has no first-party store integration; third-party apps can share Shopify products into it by hand. Synapis connects Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or a product feed and builds posts from the data: best sellers from real orders, offers with the discount in the caption, and new arrivals.
Approval is on every Synapis account, where Hootsuite reserves its approval workflows for Advanced and Enterprise. And Synapis is priced per post rather than per user: no subscription, 3,000 free credits, packs from $9.90.
Hootsuite’s published annual-billing prices are $99 per user a month for Standard, $199 for Professional and $399 for Advanced, with Enterprise quoted. That is $1,188 a year for one Standard seat. A store posting three times a week, about 156 posts a year, would spend roughly $130 on Synapis credits at current pack prices, but it would not get Hootsuite’s listening, analytics or network coverage.
No. Synapis focuses on making and publishing posts. It does not include analytics dashboards, listening or an inbox.
